TTA, SureBet Racing News reach endorsement agreement

1/30/2010

SureBet Racing News has reached an agreement with the Texas Thoroughbred Association to be recognized as the officially endorsed publication of the TTA.

With the agreement, SureBet Racing News will devote an entire quarterly section to the Texas Thoroughbred Association. The SureBet publication posts distribution numbers of 5,000 magazines published per month. The sections will be giving coverage to TTA-sponsored events, Texas Thoroughbred-related articles,  a letter from the TTA’s executive director and race recaps for Texas racing action. Also, TTA members will receive a free subscription to SureBet each month as part of their TTA membership in the absence of the award-winning The Texas Thoroughbred, which transitioned from a print to digital format last year.

The Executive Director of the TTA, Dave Hooper, expressed the desire for the organization to partner with SureBet to continue reaching their association members through a monthly mailed publication.

“The Texas Thoroughbred Association is very pleased to endorse SureBet racing magazine as the organization’s officially endorsed publication,” said Hooper. “We also are pleased that SureBet will be providing coverage of major Texas racing days not only in the magazine, but also with video coverage of In The Gate (www.inthegate.net). TTA extends its thanks to SureBet interests for stepping up to provide a new way to reach all TTA members, and we are delighted to be part of SureBet’s impressive growth in the Southwest.”

Founded in 2007, SureBet Racing News is a monthly publication devoted to covering Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing news throughout the Southwest. With offices in Ruidoso, NM,  Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, and now a satellite office in Arizona, the publication has grown from a magazine covering strictly New Mexico racing to now covering racing in every state west of the Mississippi River with news that is useful and relevant to the racing industry. In June 2009,  SureBet Racing News added a sister company with the creation of the online racing webcast of In The Gate at www.inthegate.net.
