As a benefit to Texas Thoroughbred Association members, Alison Rowe, an equine attorney and TTA member, has provided the following basic equine legal forms as a free service.

These forms are designed to give those engaged in the equine industry a starting point for the creation of legal documents to use in their businesses.

The forms are provided with the understanding that the TTA and Alison Rowe are not engaged in rendering legal, accounting, or other professional advice or service by providing the user with these forms. The services of competent professional persons should be sought in conjunction with the use of the forms.

These forms are drafted so that most apply Texas law. If you are modifying the forms to apply another state’s law, be sure that the contract applies the appropriate law and contains all the necessary provisions required by that state.
