Breanna Bristol, Round Rock, Texas, daughter of TTA member Tammy Blake

Rick Rowe, College Station, Texas, spouse of TTA member Alison Rowe
•    Current Junior at Texas A&M University, studying Animal Science
•    Awarded $1,000

Nicole Stewart, Bandera, Texas, daughter of TTA member Dee Dee Stewart
•    Plans to attend Texas A&M University, studying Agriculture Communications/Journalism
•    Awarded $1,000

Jennifer Wright, Argyle, Texas, daughter of TTA member Charles Wright
•    Current Freshman at Kansas State University, studying Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary

Lydia Boyce, Flower Mound, Texas, daughter of TTA member Tim Boyce

Allison Goodwin, Mesquite, Texas, daughter of TTA member Steve Bragg

•    Currently a Junior at Texas State University, studying Interior Design

Holly Hunnicutt, Aubrey, Texas, daughter of TTA member Deborah Goin
•    Currently a Sophomore at Texas Tech University, studying Agricultural Communications
•    Awarded $4,000

Kenzie McPherson, Canadian, Texas, daughter of TTA member Kenneth McPherson
•    Currently a Sophomore at Texas A&M University, studying Business Administration/Management
•    Awarded $3,000

Megan Tracy, Bandera, Texas, daughter of TTA members Bill & Joan Tracy
•    Currently a Senior at Texas A&M University, studying Biomedical Science, beginning Veterinary School
•    Awarded $7,500

Additionally, the Texas Thoroughbred Education Fund awarded two scholarships in the name of The Will Smith Foundation.  These scholarships are awarded to students already in college who are maintaining a high GPA and demonstrating a compassionate heart with their life goals and extracurricular activities.   

As this year’s recipients, Allison Goodwin will receive and additional $2,000 and Megan Tracy will receive an additional $5,000 for the 2009-2010 school year.
