Additionally, the Texas Thoroughbred Education Fund awarded two scholarships in the name of The Will Smith Foundation. These scholarships are awarded to students already in college who are maintaining a high GPA and demonstrating a compassionate heart with their life goals and extracurricular activities.
As this year’s recipients, Allison Goodwin will receive and additional $2,000 and Megan Tracy will receive an additional $5,000 for the 2009-2010 school year.
